Monthly Meetings:

KSA holds dinner meetings in New York City on the Second Tuesday of each month. The meetings start around 6:30pm.

Upcoming Activities 2008:

  • Sailing 101 courses - We are planning a series of Introduction to Sailing and Safety on the Water courses throughout the season. These will be provided by member boat owners on a voluntary basis with limited spaces, details and timings will be published on the Club message board.
  • Labor Day Weekend Flotilla, Mid Long Island Sound Raft-Up.
  • October 9th to 12th Columbus Day Weekend "Summer Never Ends" Potential Club trip to Annapolis Boat Show

 
Past Events

2008:

      
  • Feb 23rd Saturday, KSA workshops - We are planning on four different workshops.
  • March 1st Saturday, CPR/Basic First Aid course. 7 hour course at the American Red Cross Center in Manhattan for KSA members 12 Max.
  • Memorial Weekend Flotillas - this year there will a flotilla in each of the fleet areas
  • Heritage of Pride Celebrations, June 21 - 29 New York City. For full KSA participation details click here
    • 27th - Sixth annual Stonewall Sails Regatta, Friday under the Statue of Liberty, Hudson River with after Party in the evening.
    • 28th - KSA Rainbow Rally
    • 29th - HOP March (you won't believe who the Grand Marshall is)
    • 29th evening- KSA's Parade of Sails NYC Harbour
    • 30th - July 5th - KSA PRIDE Armada to East end of Long Island.
    • July 6 - 13th Armada continues to Province Town
